For the leader in the luxury travel industry, we have created a new marketing channel, in the form of a dedicated portal to promote the offer of the 50 most luxurious hotels in the world, in order to organize exclusive events and car rallies.

"The Leading Hotels of the World" (LHW) is an organization founded in 1928, bringing together more than 400 luxury hotels in more than 80 countries. Each hotel is a symbol of luxury that combines tradition with modernity, guaranteeing guests an unforgettable experience, in the most picturesque and prestigious locations in the world.

LHW's reputation as a leader in the luxury travel industry stems from its consistent pursuit of perfection in providing guests with a unique experience and the highest level of satisfaction.

The aim of the project

The aim of the project was to create a dedicated marketing channel that would increase the effectiveness of marketing activities and enable 50 selected luxury hotels to reach a precisely defined group of recipients – automotive enthusiasts around the world, in particular organizers and participants of exclusive events and car rallies. A key element of the project was the intuitive search and appropriate presentation of hotels on the map and the provision of selected information that would meet the needs of the target group.

In 2023, the global luxury hotel market was valued at approximately USD 99,868 billion. It is expected to grow to $117,169 billion by 2033, at a CAGR of 5.3% from 2023 to 2033. The created portal is a response to the dynamic growth, evolution and intensifying competition in the luxury hotel industry. To meet the growing demands of today's travelers, hotels are focusing on technological advancements, personalized experiences, and original methods to reach customers.

Challenges

  • Clear presentation of a range of selected information about the hotel and the surrounding area.
  • Possibility to save the presentation of the selected object in an offline form.
  • Convenient content management, in particular building hotel presentations and selected information.

Solution

We have created a portal tailored to the needs and reputation of the LHW brand, dressed in an elegant graphic design. An intuitive interface, with an interactive map and hotel search engine, streamlines the process of choosing a location to organize a trip or an elite automotive event. We have divided the hotel presentations into two tabs: "The Hotel" and "The Experience". In the first one, visitors can find detailed information about the facility, a description of the facilities, the capacity of the hotel and selected photos. "The Experience" is, in practice, a collection of the most important information from the point of view of car enthusiasts, and above all from the point of view of participants and organizers of car events.

A map of important POIs (e.g. petrol stations, car washes, car repair shops, chargers for electric cars) as well as scenic routes and race tracks in the area are also presented here. In addition, users have the ability to generate and visualize on an interactive map the access from the hotel to each of the proposed places.

Visitors have the option to download auto-generated brochures. They allow you to print or view detailed information about selected objects and the surrounding area, even without access to the Internet. This is especially useful in hard-to-reach places, such as remote hotels in the mountains or scenic routes, far from the center of civilization. Car enthusiasts will also find news here, in which interesting facts and information about various automotive events around the world are published.

In order to enable convenient updating of content, the entire portal was based on a content management system (CMS) created for the needs of the project. In this way, the customer can easily build and update a database of hotels, create a "The Experience" subpage for each facility and a list of scenic routes in the area.

Key functionalities of the project

The main features include:

  • Precise search engine for luxury hotels, with an interactive map and filtering options.
  • An extensive presentation of hotels, including a photo gallery and selected information about the facility.
  • "The Experience" - presentation of the area and attractions for car enthusiasts, including an interactive map of useful and interesting POIs as well as picturesque routes and race tracks, along with a visualization of how to get there.
  • Automatic generation and the ability to download an extensive brochure (PDF file) with a presentation of each hotel and area.
  • A CMS that allows you to manage the content of the portal and a creator of the presentation of hotels and the surrounding area tailored to car events.

Branding & Design

The visual layer of the portal was created in cooperation with a Belgian creative agency. The design exudes elegance, corresponding to the prestige of the presented objects. The color scheme is based on shades of navy blue and white, which emphasize credibility and high standard, while sophisticated grays add a subtle look. The brand's logo dominates the top of the page, guaranteeing recognizability.

Carefully selected fonts increase the clarity and elegance of the presentation. Selected photographs of the facilities invite you on a visual journey, and the news and descriptions of the hotels on the home page emphasize the dynamic nature of the portal. The project balances between modernity and tradition, emphasizing the prestige of the LHW brand.

Combining elegant design with search functionality, hotel presentation and targeted options, the portal has strengthened LHW's position as a leader in the luxury travel industry, offering users a unique experience from the planning stage.
