Privacy policy

Acting on the basis of Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), this Privacy Policy defines the principles of collecting, processing, and protecting personal data of visitors and users ("Users") of the Administrator's website ("Service"). The policy serves as an informative document to fulfill the information obligations imposed on the Administrator under the GDPR.

The administrator of personal data is I & B Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Katowicka 86, 43-190 Mikołów, registered in the Commercial Register of the Katowice-Wschód District Court, VIII Economic Department - KRS, under the registration number KRS: 0000357995, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 6351812554, National Business Registry Number (REGON): 241614310 ("Administrator"). The administrator of personal data declares that technical and organizational measures have been implemented to ensure the protection of processed data in accordance with the requirements specified in the applicable personal data protection regulations.

1. Personal Data: Purpose and Processing Time

  1. The Administrator collects and processes personal data collected during the use of the Service by Users, such as personal data submitted by the User through the contact and recruitment forms, data transmitted through chats, and stored in cookies.
  2. User personal data is collected and processed to the extent necessary for the purposes of the Service, including the following processes:
    1. Contacting Users to respond to questions submitted through the Service (e.g., via the contact form, chat);
    2. Preparing and presenting commercial offers;
    3. Posting comments under blog posts;
    4. Collecting and processing personal data of Users expressing their willingness to participate in the recruitment process for the purpose of recruitment;
    5. Conducting analysis of Users' behaviors and interests while visiting the Service;
    6. Sending informational and marketing messages to the email address provided by the User.
  3. Providing personal data is voluntary; however, failure to provide data may result, depending on the case, in the inability to receive answers to questions, offers, information about services or free materials such as e-books, newsletters, etc., or the inability to participate in the recruitment process.
  4. User personal data is processed from the moment of obtaining consent until its withdrawal, request for deletion, or cessation of processing, and after its revocation, solely for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with the legal obligations imposed on the Administrator (up to a maximum of 6 years from the revocation of consent).
  5. User personal data participating in the recruitment process is processed from the moment of obtaining consent until its withdrawal, request for deletion, or cessation of processing, and after its revocation, solely for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with the legal obligations imposed on the Administrator (up to a maximum of 3 years from the revocation of consent).
  6. User personal data may be disclosed to entities authorized to receive them under applicable law, including the competent authorities of justice.
  7. User personal data may also be disclosed, to the necessary extent, to other entities cooperating with the Administrator based on concluded agreements.
  8. User personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area and made available to international organizations.

2. Cookies. Google Analytics

  1. Cookies are computer data, in particular text files, which the Service stores on the User's end device to enable the website or service providers' systems to recognize the User's browser, capture and remember certain information, and analyze how users use it.
  2. The Service uses two types of cookies:
    1. Session cookies - temporary files stored on the User's device during their use of the Service;
    2. Persistent cookies - files stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
  3. In many cases, web browsing software (web browser) allows for the storage of cookies on the User's end device by default.
  4. Cookies placed on the User's end device and used may also be used by third-party entities cooperating with the Administrator, such as Facebook, Google, Gemius, BBelements, HubSpot. More information about these cookies is available on the websites of the respective third-party entities.
  5. The Administrator collects and analyzes aggregate information about the use of the portal using the Google Analytics service. The purpose of these activities is to improve the functioning of the Service. The Service Administrator has no control over the information stored in Google Analytics cookies.
  6. Users can change cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed, in particular, to block automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to be notified of their placement in the User's device each time. Detailed information on the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).
  7. Refusing cookies and changing the User's browser settings may result in the improper functioning of the Service.

3. Newsletter

  1. Through the Website, the Administrator enables the User to enter into an agreement for the provision of digital content in the form of materials such as articles, curiosities, information about events, products, and services provided by the Administrator ("Materials"), for which the User does not pay any monetary fee.
  2. By filling out and submitting the newsletter subscription form, the User enters into an agreement with the Administrator and orders the delivery of digital content in exchange for providing their data.
  3. Conclusion of an agreement as referred to in point 3.2 above requires completing and submitting the form, and then confirming the subscription to the newsletter by clicking on the confirmation link sent to the email address provided in the form. The agreement is considered concluded when the confirmation page is displayed to the User.
  4. The Administrator collects and processes personal data collected during the User's subscription to the newsletter, such as email address, first name and last name, workplace (company), position - depending on the form through which the User subscribes to the newsletter.
  5. User personal data subscribing to the newsletter is collected and processed to the extent necessary to provide the newsletter delivery service and for the purposes of archiving and demonstrating the fact that the User voluntarily consented to receiving the newsletter.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary.
  7. The User may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in the received message.

4. Rights of Data Owners

  1. Users of the Service have the right to:
    1. request access to their personal data from the Administrator;
    2. rectify their personal data;
    3. delete or restrict the processing of their personal data;
    4. object to the processing (particularly if personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, to the extent that the processing is related to such direct marketing, or due to reasons related to the User's particular situation - in relation to the processing of personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (i.e., based on our legitimate interests) (Article 21(1) of the GDPR);
    5. data portability to another data controller;
    6. lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e., the Data Protection Authority, if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
  2. The right to withdraw consent at any time does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  3. The exercise of the above-mentioned rights may be carried out by sending a relevant request, providing the User's name and email address, to the address office@webmakers.expert or the Administrator's correspondence address.

5. Privacy Policy Changes

  1. This Privacy Policy may be changed. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be published on this page. Previous versions of the Privacy Policy will be archived by the Administrator to allow Users to access them.
